Registration for the 2011-2012 will take place in June 2011.
If you are interested
in home schooling your student with the support of
Saddleback Christian Academy next fall, please proceed with the following steps:
1)
Send an e-mail to info@scaathome.com and include each interested student’s name,
grade in fall, if you are a current member of
HSLDA, brief information of your current school situation,
and your contact information. We will then prepare
an application packet for you.
2) If you have any further questions
feel free to include these in your e-mail and someone
will contact you.
3) Attend our monthly faculty meeting
on Monday night May 2, 2011, which will give you a
better idea of what Saddleback Christian Academy is all about. This meeting is mandatory for any
new families. At the end of this meeting, newly interested
families will be gathered for a time of questions
and answers. You will also be given an application
at this time. The meeting will be held at Crossroads
Community Church in Mission Viejo from 6:45 p.m.-8:30
p.m., on May 2, 2011. Both parents are encouraged
to attend, but please keep in mind that this is an
adult only meeting. (Nursing babies are welcome.) You must attend this meeting in order to pick up your
application.

Information on What SCA Is and Is Not
4) All applications must be returned at our June faculty meeting, Monday night June 6, 2011. June 7, 2011 is our registration deadline for new families for the 2011-2012 school year. As noted in your application packet, a registration fee will be required at that time.
5) After your application is reviewed,
you will be contacted to schedule a time for a family
interview with our board of directors. This is a relaxed
environment and we would like you to bring all children
who live in your home, regardless of whether you are
planning to home school them in the fall. This interview
is another chance for you to get to know us better,
to ask questions, and to share your story with us.
6) You should be contacted shortly
after your interview.
7) We welcome all families who wish
to take responsibility for their children’s
education, and who desire to contribute their gifts
and time to help make Saddleback Christian Academy
a place of support for our likeminded Christian families.

8) There will be an orientation for
our new families in early August. Our classes will
begin in September. Our first monthly faculty meeting
will most likely be on September 6, 2011 at 6:45 p.m.
