Events

Fall - Barn Dance
This much loved annual event gathers the families of SCA dressed in their western attire & dancing shoes! The evening includes catered dinner, family photo op, games for the kids, pumpkin decorating contest, and a square/line dance caller, and the senior class jail fundraiser.

Winter – Science Fair
Every year SCA students are able to participate in hands on learning at the annual science fair. Students rotate in groups to different stations where they learn and participate in various science activities. Students are also welcomed to enter science fair projects, time is set aside for students to share their projects. Science fair projects can be done independently, with another student, or done as a family.

Spring – Art/Craft Fair
This annual fair takes on different themes each year. Past themes have included: International, Renaissance, J.O.Y., and various other craft themes. Students rotate through several learning areas, do hands on arts and crafts, and sometimes games or activities.

Promotion Night – June
This end-of-school year annual event celebrates the promotion of each student from their current grade level to the next. Graduating seniors give speeches, the choirs perform, and yearbooks are distributed at the end of the evening. The event concludes with a reception allowing families to mingle and for the students to sign yearbooks!

Assemblies
Every school year SCA parents volunteer and coordinate various assemblies. This year they include: Get-to-Know You Assembly, History Walk Thru Presentations, Spelling Bee, Bubble Mania, Talent Show, Kite Flying, Christmas Party, Book Report, Historical Figure Impersonator, Share Fair, etc.

Clubs/Groups
Boy Scouts & Cub Scouts, Keepers of the Faith, Literature Club, Speech & Debate – SCARLET, and Toastmasters are just a few of several SCA clubs and groups.
